Long-haul seat maps: suites, pairs and Economy Max

Choose your seat on our long-haul flights: Business suites and pairs, Economy Max and Economy, with extra legroom and the preferred zone marked on the map.

Booking a seat now works on our long-haul flights too. When you choose a flight to San Diego, Atlanta, Ottawa, Cape Town, Chennai or Almaty, the seat map shows the twin-aisle cabin of the Airbus A330 or A340 scheduled on that day, with every seat that is still free.

Business: every seat on the aisle

Business is arranged one, two and one across two aisles. The single seats at the windows, A and K, are marked as Business Suites and suit guests travelling alone; the pairs in the centre, D and G, are made for two travelling together. Whichever you choose, you never climb past a neighbour.

Economy Max and Economy

Behind Business come Economy Max, a smaller cabin of its own, and Economy. Both are seated two, four and two, so no seat is more than one place away from an aisle. The rows with extra legroom and the preferred zone at the front of Economy are marked on the map and can be chosen like any other seat.

Airbus A330-200
36 Business · 24 Economy Max · 184 Economy · 244 seats
Airbus A330-300 and A340-300
48 Business · 32 Economy Max · 192 Economy · 272 seats

On a phone the map narrows its seats to fit eight abreast, and the seat letters stay readable. As on every VELA flight, the boarding pass opens in your browser the moment you confirm.
