Every VELA flight is operated by an Airbus A319, A320 or A321: three sizes of the same aircraft, each matched to the routes it suits best.

The types differ in length and in the number of seats. The cabin is the same on each: one aisle, Business at the front, Economy behind. The aircraft below are drawn to the same scale.

The Airbus A319 is the smallest aircraft in our fleet. With 134 seats it links Zurich with the smaller cities of our network, where a compact aircraft is the right size for the route.
Short-haul · the backbone of our European network
7aircraft
The Airbus A320 is the backbone of our European network and operates most of our flights from Zurich. It seats 168 passengers in Business and Economy.
Short-haul · our longest routes and holiday services
5aircraft
The Airbus A321 is the largest aircraft in our current fleet, with 202 seats. It flies our longest routes and the holiday services to the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.
Joining the fleet
Three twin-aisle types are on order for future long-haul services from Zurich. Their routes will be announced once the long-haul schedule is confirmed.
