About Crew Access
Crew Access is the crew side of the VELA platform. Your monthly roster lives here, built from real pairings that start and end in Zurich, together with everything that changes it: bids, requests, open trips you pick up, delays and the changes planning makes after publication.
Around the roster sits the rest of the job: VELA Mail, the training library with exams and records, the confidential VELA Reporting System and the Content Hub with every app and add-on. It runs in any browser and is built for the iPad and the iPhone as much as for the desk.

Roster and assigned flights
Your month as a calendar and as a list, with duty times, flights, aircraft and crew, in UTC and local time.

Check-in for every duty
Check in for your trip like at a crew room terminal, and report a delay with a new estimated departure that operations sees straight away.

Roster changes you acknowledge
When planning changes a published roster, you see the old and the new version side by side and confirm that you have read them.

Bidding and roster requests
Bid for trips, days off, availability and aircraft types, or cap your flight time per month or per sector; the roster generator respects your bids.

Pick up an open rotation from the board; a duty-time check makes sure it still fits your flight and rest limits.
